Название проекта беспроводной локальной сети WLAN со скоростью передачи 1 или 2 Мбит/с (модуляция ИКМ 16 и ИКМ 64), работающей в инфракрасном диапазоне частот (850-950 нс). Предполагается, что данная технология будет использоваться совместно с двумя другими: DSSS и FHSS (стандарт IEEE 802.11).
